Employer Volunteer Grants Does Your Employer Offer Volunteer Grants? Each year, several KM4B families consistently volunteer their time on behalf of the band program AND record and submit their service hours to their employer. Companies granting Kingwood Band Boosters funds each year due to our volunteers have contributed to Boosters providing financial backing for KM4B activities. The following information is from the ExxonMobil website.  Does YOUR employer have a similar partnership? http://www.exxonmobileurope.com/corporate/Citizenship/Corp_Cit_VIPGuidelines.asp Individual Volunteer Grants The Individual Volunteer Grant is designed for employees, retirees, and other eligible participants who volunteer in the community on an individual basis.  A $500 grant can be awarded to a charitable non-profit organization after an eligible participant volunteers at least 20 hours of their time to the organization during a calendar year.  Each eligible participant may apply for four individual grants per calendar year.  These grants may be for the same or separate organizations, provided 20 hours of service is performed for each grant.  An organization may receive a maximum of $5,000 per calendar year of Individual Volunteer Grants. KM4B Sportswear Show your support for our KM4B bands by wearing KM4B sportswear at football games and other band events. KM4B sportswear includes t-shirts, polo shirts, several styles of denim shirts, sweatshirts, and caps. Sportswear can be purchased during all home football games at Turner Stadium. Kroger and Randalls Cards Another way to show support for our bands is by using the Kroger Share Card or your Randall's Remarkable Card when you purchase groceries. We will have Kroger Share Cards at the sportswear table at football games. For our Randall's shoppers, you need to activate your Remarkable Card. This can be done at the checkout or the courtesy booth using the #1696. We receive 1% of your purchase at each of these stores. This is at no extra cost to you and an excellent and easy fundraiser for us!!!

Corporate Donations Kingwood Band Booster Volunteers are the "heart & soul" of our organization. But did you know that many corporations (like ExxonMobil) donate funds based on the time volunteered by employees and family members? Your volunteer time may be worth even more to our Band Booster Program than you know. Please check with your employers to see if they offer such a program - if not, see about starting one! ExxonMobil employees & family members: if you volunteer up to 20 hours, ExxonMobil Foundation will donate $500 to KWBB. Simply fill out an application and have it endorsed by your KWBB Board Member. Applications are available on the ExxonMobil Company Intranet Site or through your Fundraising Contacts listed below.
