*Band Trip Money Due May 29, 2008*
2009 Band Trip Participants:
IMPORTANT REMINDER – The next trip payment installment in the amount of $200 is Due no later Thursday, May 29th. Band Booster representatives will be at the KHS band hall both before and after school on that date only to receive payments. Participants are encouraged to mail their payment ahead of time so it is not forgotten on the due date. Payments can be mailed to:

On-time payments are critical in order for Band Boosters to meet our financial obligations to retain various reservations. Your efforts to make certain your trip payment is received on-time will both ensure your space is not released as well as save our volunteers time in processing payments.

2009 Band Trip
**Payment Schedule for KM4B Band Trip in 2009**
1. March 13, 2008 - Thursday – the first payment of $100 due – this payment is required to reserve airline seats and retain rooms at a hotel.
2. April 17, 2008 – Thursday – $150 payment
3. May 29, 2008 – Thursday - $200 payment
4. August 14, 2008 – Thursday - $200 payment
5. September 25, 2008 – Thursday - $200 payment
6. November 13, 2008 – Thursday - $200 payment
7. December 4, 2008 - Thursday - $150 final payment
Representatives of the Band Boosters will be in the band hall in the morning on those designated days to collect your payments and credit your student with funds for the trip.
Payments are preferred by check - made out to “Kingwood Band Boosters – 2009 Trip”. Make sure that your student’s name is noted on the check so that he/she will receive the proper credit. The cancelled check will serve as your receipt. Cash will also be accepted but only on collection days and a receipt will be given for these payments. Trip payment vouchers are provided in your packet for reminders and to facilitate ease of payment. Remember to include your student’s name on all payments made so that the proper credit is given to the designated student.
The payment level for your student must be at the level of $450 by May 29, 2008 so that we may continue to hold your child’s seat.

March 13 - June 6 - all payments refunded
June 7 – November 1 - all payments minus $ 100
November 2 - December 1 - all payments minus $550
After December 1 - no refunds
Refunds will be provided if extenuating circumstances prevail but only up to a certain date. We will try to do our best to work with each family as situations arise. The cancellation dates provided may vary depending on which trip the band goes on. The dates above are for the Washington, D. C. trip only. As we firm up contracts and trip selection the dates and penalties may change based upon changes in contract requirements. It is important for the parent to keep in mind that as the Band has contractual payment requirements and cancellation deadlines it becomes necessary to pass these on to the student. The trip includes airfare, hotel, ground transportation, instrument/uniform shipment, food and activities.
