Hugh Poland is a graduate of Houston Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Seminary.  He has served as a UIL accompanist for Solo and Ensemble contest for the last eleven years, and loves working with students.  He has served as the Minister of Creative Arts at Woodridge Baptist Church of Kingwood since 2000, and has been active with the Kingwood Pops Orchestra as a pianist, singer, arranger, and conductor.  Hugh has also served as a Minister of Music at churches in Corpus Christi (where he also directed a private school band) and Pasadena, TX.  He has written three books for Judson Press and is a regular contributor to various periodicals.  Hugh is married and has three daughters, and enjoys woodworking and baseball in his spare time.
