Summer 2003 Band Camps Summer Band Camp Scholarships Is your young musician planning to go to a band camp this summer? Then he/she may be eligible for the $40 Band Camp Scholarship. As in the past, Kingwood Band Boosters will be providing a scholarship in the amount of $40 each for students attending a recognized Band Camp. To qualify, your family must have been a Band Booster Member as of March 31, 2003. This is one of the many benefits of your $15 membership fee! What to do: Please make your arrangements and make FULL payment directly to the camp that your child is attending. When you obtain your receipt for the camp payment in full, attach a copy of it to the form below and mail it to the address indicated. Our books close by June 30th, so IT IS CRITICAL THAT WE RECEIVE THIS REQUEST ON OR BEFORE JUNE 30, 2003. If it isn't received by then, you will not be eligible for the scholarship. Also, we have tough auditors, so sending in just the application is not sufficient. We need a copy of the payment receipt from the Camp, or lacking that, a copy of both sides of your cancelled check.
