OUR VISION
Kingwood High School Band exists to develop independent musicians, effective leaders, and mature individuals through musical excellence and band community.
OUR MISSION
We aim to take students from large ensemble musical moments, to personal musical moments through intentional practice and rehearsal techniques, a holistic understanding of music, and an emphasis on the fundamentals of music. We will develop and encourage each other through exemplifying, communicating, and expecting our band’s leadership standards, unique characteristics, and the six pillars of our culture. We hope to impact our community and the larger field of music education as a result of pursuing our vision and mission.
